These words are important for everyone of His children to hear!  When fail to see ourselves as He sees us, we cheat Him, us, and, the world by not fulfilling our true purpose.

 

• These words would be perfect in the Beautiful For Him Album.  Create a double page spread with these words on one page and the beauty you see in your child on the other.  Include encouraging words addressing her physical, emotional, and, spiritual beauty.  Portions of Psalm 139 would be perfect scattered on the page.
• Use the words to create a page for a new mom including notes of encouragement for those days when she questions her purpose.
• Part or all of the song words can also be included on a page with a child looking in the mirror.  How inspiring for them to read them at a later time to remind themselves God created them just as He planned!

 

Beautiful For Him

  My 11 year old daughter is amazing, in spite of who her mother is :)  Her heart is precious and her soul is stunning.  I am so excited to see the woman she will become one day.

Parenting tweens is challenging, awkward, and beautiful.  And, while I have made it through 3 boys, I am finding that tween girls are a very different breed.

Do you remember those years?  The feeling of being "stuck between Barbie Dolls and Boys", as my mom would say, could change by the minute.  Sorting through our new world of friends, clothes, words, talents, education, boys, girls, pets, parents, make-up, shaving, music, and changes left us giggling one moment and crying the next.......Ah yes, it's all coming back to me now:  Wow, how'd we survive?

As I step back and watch my daughter develop into the woman God wants her to be I feel a new passion to help her see how beautiful she is in His eyes.  How do I encourage her to look in the mirror and feel confident?  How do I teach her to be authentic?  How do I instill within her the trust that He created her wonderfully?  Again, insert the best answer here:  My albums! :)

So today I start my daughter's Beautiful For Him album.  This may very well be the most important album a mother could ever make for her daughter.   If we women would have learned to find our beauty when we were 10 we wouldn't struggle so much when we are in our 40s.  As I plan the album in my head, I have been praying that it is one she will refer to over the years.  Whether she is 14, 40, or 84 I want her to KNOW she is beautiful:  Her mama and Jesus say so!!!  

I have so many things to say, so many ideas to create her Beautiful For Him album.  However, like me, long posts probably don't keep your attention, so, I'll just have to break them up into a few different ones.  A new catagory has been created for you to click on and get ideas to make your own Beautiful For Him album for your daughter.

Let's turn our daughters' eyes to Him and one of the most amazing parts of His creation:  THEM!
