I would like to take a moment to address a question that has been raised concerning my site and the work I have done on Scrapbookers Bubble Bath. I would like to clarify an issue that may be of question in some minds:
My work is as completely original as the lady to the left. :) I have never plagiarized anyone's work or taken others' ideas as my own. I purposely do not cruise the internet. Honestly, I don't have the time. If I have an extra hour to spend on the computer it will be scrapping my own pages or working on SBB. I truly don't even know what or who is out there.
In fact, if anything, since the time SBB was created those many years ago, and the copyrighted Unto All Generation series was first released in 2005, I have seen others take my work to claim as their own. But, I have never said a word - I believe that HOWEVER God can be glorified and His Word shared, it is a blessing.
I was one of the first ones to pull together a scripture concordance for scrapbooking, released as Volume I . The idea of putting faith and scripture in my scrapbooks was not or has ever been a copy of anyone, but rather, I believe, a calling that was placed on my heart a long time ago. He wrote the Word - so, perhaps, we are all plagiarizing HIS Work :)
If one were to look back over the first posts from SBB, it would be clear that I have been on this mission for a long time. I took a break to care for my family, move across the country, do what the Lord has called me to do, & recently change hosts. While I did what I needed to do the internet grew. My recent increase in activity on the sites comes simply, because I have lost too many people I love - And, I know they had words to say and stories to tell. If I can help one person leave their love and legacy for their family, then, my time will be worth it.
My mission and passion has been to inspire you to leave a legacy on your pages. My copyrighted work, posts, ideas and books are all my original work. The internet is a big place. There are too many unsaved people in this world. Until EVERY person has taken Christ as their personal savior, I believe there is plenty of room for all of us who are trying to bring faith to scrapbooking.
For as long as I feel led, I will continue to work to spread my passion to help you leave a legacy for eternity in your pages. And, may you be blessed by my work as well as all the other wonderful information that is out there.
My heart is pure, my face forward, and my work is as unto the Lord. I pray that many generations to come will be blessed by our work and words saved in our scrapbook albums.
Now that that has been clarified - I'm gonna go work on the next Singin' Through the Grief post :)
